Wall Street 'Absolutely a Cartel'


These days it's become a part of the national conversation that Wall Street has too much power, and too much influence over our political system. If we were concerned about too big to fail banks right when the financial crisis hit, look around today and through bank failings and consolidations, the big banks, have only gotten bigger. So could we go as far as calling Wall Street, a cartel? William Cohan author of "Money and Power" reminds us of a lawsuit brought by the US government against 17 leading Wall Street investment banks, in 1947, where they essentially, did just that.
