Orwellian 'West imposes media blackout on Mali'

Press TV: Getting information out of Mali has been made very difficult because the French army has kept the media out and there is a media blackout there as well as in the American media.

The comments came after Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said 74,000 Malians who have taken refuge in the desert of Mauritania need urgent help and humanitarian assistance. The medical aid agency, which is also known as Medecins Sans Frontieres, said on Friday that the condition of Malian refugees in the Mbera camp was deplorable and that the "humanitarian assistance is insufficient."

Press TV has conducted an interview with Randy Short, human rights activist, to further discuss the issue. Source
