Nazi Myths

"Hitler didn't do anything that was out of the norm and the Reichstag decree was very rarely used. The only people who were really effected by it were the communists, these communist party members the KPD. So this idea that the fire was all about taking away human rights and terrorising the country, it's a complete myth. They like to say that the enabling act is also a direct result. No the enabling act would have come about anyway. ...the gleiwitz incident. It points to a circumstantial case indicting the British who had their own radio transmitter in Polish upper Silecia as the ones who planted that false story. ...It came up in the British press before it was even completed! ...It was pure propaganda!"
