UK Attorney General To Review Child Rape Case

By Toy Soldiers: There is some good news concerning the recent child rape case in the UK. After numerous complaints, 48 in total, the Attorney General will review the suspended sentence Jade Hatt received:
Jade Hatt, 21, walked free from court despite having full intercourse with an 11-year-old boy she was looking after. Her victim’s mum slammed the six-month suspended sentence , and now the Attorney General will look into the case. His office must decide whether to send the matter to the Court of Appeal by October 30.
The boy’s mother complained about the embarrassing sentence:
Today the boy’s disgusted mother – who is estranged from the father – criticised the judge and vowed to appeal the “lenient” sentence. The mum, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, said she felt utterly violated and blamed her ex for helping their son’s abuser avoid a prison sentence. She said: “He is not sex mad. He is 11 years old. Of course he is interested in girls but that is how it is in the playground.
It is sad that it even came to anything like this. Who, other than feminists like Hugo Schwyzer, would paint a child rapist as the victim? What kind of father does this after his child tells him that he did not want to do it?

Yet it is a great sign to see people not only complain about this case, but also for it to result in a review of the case. This rarely happens, especially in the UK where women cannot be charged with rape.
Hopefully this will result in a stiffer sentence than:

Hatt, of Swindon, Wiltshire, was given a six-month jail term suspended for two years with supervision and told to register as a sex offender for seven years.
Judge Mousley also imposed a sexual harm prevention order banning her from having unsupervised contact with young boys for two years.
The sentence is a complete joke. It offers no actual punishment for raping an 11-year-old, and offers no protection against this woman abusing other boys.
Perhaps the outrage this case prompted will send the message that people are finally taking the rape of boys seriously and will not tolerate these kinds of slaps on the wrists.
