Jewish Statistics

By Gilad Atzmon: The ultra Zionist Jewish Chronicle revealed last week that, “41 per cent of young Jews would back sanctions against Israel to advance peace.” This may sound as if young Jews are, at last, moving in the right direction. Not really!
The JC was quick to amend its article to correct the wrong impression. Though 2 out of 5 young Jews back sanctions on Israel to promote peace, most young Jews “also believed that there is no credible partner (to peace) on the Palestinian side.”
So, many young Jews support Israel in making peace, once they find a ‘partner.’ If only Jews could choose their enemies. I would similarly guess that at least 40% of young Jews would be happy to drive a Rolls Royce if only they could afford it.
If you insist upon indulging yourself with the thought that Jews are moving away from support of Israel, the polls contradict such an idea in clear terms: On fundamentals such as recognising Israels legitimacy, British Jews speak as one*
The message is clear. The Jews are not going to bring Israel down and the progressive Jews who insist that Jews are moving in the right direction are lying to us. Maybe for them also, by way of deception,’ is a kosher strategy.
If you ask yourself what the above poll may really mean, the answer is simple. Political Jews do and say what they believe to be ‘good for the Jews.’

So Who’s Really Sponsoring ISIS? Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, France And Other U.S. “Allies”

'We must not question the motives of our elected leaders, who despite sitting on this information for years, still lie to us, flagrantly, even now, before the blood of 129 French citizens has even dried'
Mass surveillance at home and endless military projection abroad are the twin sides of the same coin of national security, which must simply be maximized as much as possible.
Conspicuously missing from President Hollande’s decisive declaration of war however, was any mention of the biggest elephant in the room: state-sponsorship.
A senior Western official familiar with a large cache of intelligence obtained this summer told the Guardian that “direct dealings between Turkish officials and ranking ISIS members was now ‘undeniable.’”
ISIS, in other words, is state-sponsored — indeed, sponsored by purportedly Western-friendly regimes in the Muslim world, who are integral to the anti-ISIS coalition. Which then begs the question as to why Hollande and other Western leaders expressing their determination to “destroy” ISIS using all means necessary, would prefer to avoid the most significant factor of all:

German Politician Says Fuck The US!

The mood is changing in Europe
Russia Insider: Oskar Lafontaine is a major force in German politics. When he comes out swinging this way, you know something is changing.
He has been an outsized figure in German politics since the mid-70s. He was chairman of the SPD (one of Germany's two main parties) for four years, the SPD's candidate for chancellor in 1990, minister of finance for two years, and then chairman of the Left party in the 2000s. He is married to Sarah Wagenknecht, political heavyweight, who is currently co-chairman of Left party.
So it caught people's attention when he excoriated Ash Carter and Victoria Nuland on his Facebook page yesterday.
Lafontaine's outburst came a day after his wife, Sarah Wagenknecht, blasted Merkel's Russia policy in an interview on RT.
Here is the full translation of the post:
“The US 'Defense' secretary, i.e., war minister is in Berlin.  He called on Europe to counter Russian 'aggression'.  But in fact, it is US aggression which Europeans should be opposing.
“The Grandmaster of US diplomacy, George Kennan described the eastward expansion of NATO as the biggest US foreign policy mistake since WW2, because it will lead to a new cold war.

To France From A Post-9/11 America: Lessons We Learned Too Late

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” - Benjamin Franklin
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” - Hermann Goering, German military commander and Hitler’s designated successor

By John W. Whitehead: For those who remember when the first towers fell on 9/11, there is an unnerving feeling of déjà vu about the Paris attacks.
Once again, there is that same sense of shock. The same shocking images of carnage and grief dominating the news. The same disbelief that anyone could be so hateful, so monstrous, so evil as to do this to another human being. The same outpourings of support and unity from around the world. The same shared fear that this could easily have happened to us or our loved ones.
Now the drums of war are sounding. French fighter jets have carried out a series of “symbolic” air strikes on Syrian targets. France’s borders have been closed, Paris has been locked down and military personnel are patrolling its streets.

Collective Amnesia Regarding Violence By Women / Call For Reform

By : This article focuses on female serial killers yet its real subject is the fear of thinking honestly about violence by women.
  1. Monster Love
Scott Bonn, a PhD criminologist who published a book in 2014 titled Why We Love Serial Killers: The Curious Appeal of the World’s Most Savage Killers. The book’s subject is the public fascination with this particular type of criminal. This is how the professor announces his topic:
“In many ways, serial killers are for adults what monster movies are for children — that is, scary fun!” He follows by noting that this it is not simple clean fun, but rather comes at a certain cost: a feeling of guilt: “Research … reveals that many people who are fascinated with serial killers refer to it as a guilty pleasure,” we learn. [1]
Fair enough.
Bonn’s book discusses, almost exclusively, the phenomenon of fascination with male serial killers. When he devotes a sliver of attention to the females, though, he he gets it all wrong. Reading about and watching movies about male serial killers is “scary fun,” for lots of people. But there is no “love” for the female of the species – no subculture of devotees and collectors devoted to them as there clearly is with the males.

Balance Of Payments Crisis

Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss the balance of payments crisis on the horizon as share buybacks trump capital expenditure and the income stream from privatized industries heads overseas. In the second half, Max interviews chartered accountant, tax justice campaigner, professor and definitely not Jeremy Corbyn’s paid adviser, Richard Murphy, about a town in Wales going ‘offshore’ as part of a tax campaign to force the government to make multinationals pay their share of taxes.

The Mad Euro Project Just Got A Lot Madder

By Don Quijones: Under Mario Draghi’s radical stewardship, the ECB seems determined to push the limits of monetary experimentation. And by all accounts, it’s succeeding.
This week saw numerous eurozone governments sell bonds at negative rates, an economic anomaly that has no place in a rational world. Even some mainstream economists still seem confused by it. Unfortunately, thanks to the tireless efforts of central bankers around the globe, we stopped living in a rational world a long time ago.
Feeding a Monstrous Pile of Debt
The latest government to enjoy the perks of negative-interest-rate living is Portugal. That’s right, Portugal, a country that four years ago was selling 12-month notes with an average yield of 6% amidst fears about the government’s ability to service its monstrous debt pile, is now able to sell €1.1b billion of 12-month debt at a -0.06% yield. In other words, if investors hold the bonds to maturity they will actually pay the Portuguese government – a government that doesn’t yet exist – for the privilege of holding its debt.
This is despite the fact that Portugal has not only a perpetually stagnating economy but also one of the highest debt-to-GDP ratios in the world. After four years of so-called “austerity,” Portugal’s combined public and private debt is now a mind-blowing 530% of GDP, with total corporate debt expected to reach 240% of GDP.
