Most Destructive Force In The Universe

Max and Stacy take a physicist’s view on global financial and economic news as central banksters play dice with the financial universe and Schroedinger’s bank has assets, both there and not there, living and dead at the same time, depending on who (if any) is observing said ‘asset’. In the second half Max, interviews Michael Krieger about the significance of Bill Black joining the Bernie Sanders campaign. They also discuss insane central bank policies driving a rush into derivatives.

Interdisciplinarity, Another Word For Emptiness

Professor Fiamengo argues that the intent of interdisciplinarity has been so diluted in Women's Studies that it has become a hodgepodge of nonsense. A little knowledge is dangerous; even less is a trivial pursuit.

The Feminising Of Justice That Makes It Hard For Men Charged With Rape To Get A Fair Trial

By human rights lawyer Barbara Hewson: Of course, rape is a terrible crime and gang-rape is one of the worst things that human beings can do to another person. So, had four young men who were arrested after a group sex session at a student ball been found guilty of sex crimes, they would have been jailed for many years.  But the case against the quartet collapsed this week after detectives were accused of 'cherry-picking' evidence to support the prosecution, while 'airbrushing' anything that suggested the men were innocent.  Lawyers for the four students (who had been charged after the drunken sex session during a May Ball at the Royal Agricultural University in Gloucestershire) argued that evidence had been 'withheld' by officers before the trial. This included messages taken from the victim's phone hinting that she may have consented.

Why Are Married Women Leaving Their Men?

By Deidre AVfM: A recent Washington Post article, “Women are more likely to initiate divorce,” discusses the problem of modern day marriage, and how women initiate divorce 70% of the time. That is an alarming stat, and contrary to what many people may think when it comes to divorce these days. Nearly 55% of all marriages end in divorce, and if you do the math, it would seem that any way we slice it, women are the leading causes of why marriages are on the decline, and why divorce has become such a popular past time.
But, why are women initiating divorce 70% of the time? The article paints a very grim picture of what marriage is supposed to ‘look like’ for the average American couple. Look at the first sentence, it basically sets the stage for how women have such high expectations, and that we deserve to have everything we want in a mate – from a best friend to a sensational lover, to a guy that has an awesome job, to someone who will be sensitive and listen to us when we’re blue. Of course, this isn’t entirely unreasonable, I’m engaged, and I’d like to think that I’ve found quite a catch. But, my fiancé is not the sum total of biceps and a bank account, in fact, those things are not what I’ve fallen in love with, at all. He is a true leader and isn’t afraid to lead me.

Are 1 In 5 Women Raped At US Colleges?

"The 1 in 5 claim is tantamount to a lie!"
Is it true that 1 in 5 women are raped on America's college campuses? If so, what does that say about our universities and the people who run them? If not, how did that statistic get into the mainstream? Caroline Kitchens, Senior Research Associate at the American Enterprise Institute, looks at the data and explains the very significant results.

Scholars In Italy Debate Israel Boycott Despite Censorship

By Stephanie Westbrook: Academics in Italy held the country’s first scholarly discussions about boycott, divestment and sanctions measures on Israel in support of Palestinian rights in spite of attempts at censorship during a major Middle East studies conference in Sicily.
A proposal for a boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) panel discussion was accepted last fall by the scientific committee for the annual conference of the Italian Society for Middle Eastern Studies (SeSaMO), which took place on 17-19 March.
However, just weeks before it was to take place, Giacomo Pignataro, president of the University of Catania, which was hosting the conference, requested that the BDS panel be removed from the official program, threatening to pull university support.
