Feminism Empowers The Big, Bossy, Nasty State

By Laura Perrins: I will not be celebrating International Women’s Day because I am not a Marxist. It really is that simple. If IWD focused just on improving conditions of girls and women in the developing world then you could count me in. But it will not.
Instead elite white women will do what they always do – hijack the real oppression faced by women in other countries to further their own selfish ends, such as getting more wimmin on company boards, whether they deserve it or not.
If you need to understand why feminism is Marxist you need look no further than this very informative piece by our old friend Harriet Harman. She sets out what she would do if she ruled the world. Let’s just say if Harriet Harman ruled the world I’d start supporting assisted suicide so I could put myself out of the Marxist misery.
In this piece she proposes restricting freedom of speech by banning prime ministers from ‘going on about how important marriage is and how damaging divorce is’ (which prime minister ever did this by the way?) and she would promote family structures that we know are disadvantageous to children.
Harman says she would forcibly redistribute the earnings of men to women, just because, “I’d forcibly narrow the gap between what women and men earn.”
She would have a ‘crackdown’ on how businesses conduct their affairs: “I’d have a real crackdown on employers who pay part-timers less and fail to give them promotion.” I don’t know what a real crackdown means? Will she send in the military? Who knows? And finally, she would expand the welfare state. Of course she would. “I’d make childcare part of the welfare state and oblige all governments to guarantee childcare for all children whose parents want it.”
Ban, forcibly, ‘real crackdown’ and an ever-greater welfare state. These are the words of either two people – a feminist or a Marxist, or in fact just one person - a feminist/Marxist.
Because feminism refuses to accept there are real differences between men and women that lead to different outcomes, feminism necessitates state meddling in both the private and public sphere to make their gender neutral/equality of outcome/Utopia happen. Utopia will not happen if you leave men and women to work things out themselves. Feminists cannot make gender parity happen by respecting personal freedom and responsibility. Therefore feminists must seize power to ‘forcibly’ make utopia happen – or else.
This is why feminism is leftist and why all right-thinking women should stop ever identifying as feminists. Feminism cedes power from the private sphere to the big State where often men happen to wield power. Well, men and wimmin like Harriet Harman. So becoming a feminist is surrendering all your power to either men or feminists like the Harperson who care nothing for you or your family.
So wake up and smell the coffee, sisters. Feminism is oppression. Feminism is dangerous. And feminism is Marxist. Should you spend a whole day marching through town celebrating International Women’s Day? No, of course not. You are stronger than that. You are woman.

(Laura Perrins writes on how women are better than feminism in the latest of our series of articles to ‘celebrate’ International Women’s Day on Wednesday.)
